This is a smaller setup. This is setup
inside Belk's Flowood for a "Girl's Night Out"
event. This setup has minimal lighting effects.
the speakers are large, this was a "party" type
atmosphere, and the venue is large. This setup
would be ideal for a wedding reception without
lighting effects, more elegance than flash. I do
have smaller speakers if these seem intrusive,
and the emphasis is more on creating ambience
and background than dancing.
This is the most common setup. It looks a little busy because of the shadows. But really packs a punch when the lights go down. This takes up about 16 feet of wallspace. The small stage riser was included with the venue and is a nice touch but not really needed. I prefer to not be trapped in the corner like this, due to sound quaility issues, and literally being trapped behind equipment, makes it difficult to get out and interact with the crowd.
This is the monster setup. Over 5000 Watts, six speakers. 10 foot truss, multiple lights, four lasers and two video projectors. The sheets are hanging from the ceiling to be used as backlit video screens.This is setup in the Ag Museum, Forestry Bldg for a Christmas Party. Perfect setup for Homecoming, Prom or rockin' reception. See slideshow below for examples of how this looks in a dark room with the projection screens in use.

Sweet Sixteen Castlewoods Country Club
The Best Sweet 16 Ever!
I could not begin to imagine a better time than we had at Castlewoods with DJ 51-50. Phillip and Kelly absolutely made the party effortless. I mean who trusts your parents to pick a DJ? I am so thankful that they know The Cotherns (DJ 51/50). It was all the "right" music with phenomenal sound equipment!! Oh, the lights, lasers, bubbles, fog . . . like "the club" was right there for us. It was beyond what I expected and we would not entrust an event to anyone else. They are so professional and way cool! Everyone had an amazing time!! My parents were happy and I could not have been happier. Hands down . . . if they are available for your event BOOK 'EM. Phillip and Kelly (DJ 51-50) are so special and were such an important part of making my Sweet 16 Party fabulous. Blessings in the New Year to your family from ours.

I want to thank Phillip and Kelly for making my daughter's 16th Birthday a wonderful and funfilled event with their music, lights, lasers, fog, bubbles etc. It was beyond our expectations. DJ 51-50 put on the best show ever for the kids with exceptional lighting, and good clarity of sound and music. They could compile the music of choice for the kids. Kids could also request songs and Phillip did his best to keep the request. Kids thought it was the best party/DJ ever and it was all because of DJ 51-50. We are very pleased with their service. I highly recommend DJ 51-50 and plan to use
them in future parties. They are reliable, on time, and resourceful.

I can't even begin to describe to you how pleased I was with the Toga Party. In the years past, we've used several DJs who threw on some music and that was it. I guess I got lucky when I found your website and you agreed to DJ our Toga Party. Personally, let me just say that your sound quality and light display totally exceeded my expectations. The lasers were incredible and super cool, I've never seen anything like it! Now, on a different note,
I cannot tell you how many people came up to me and were like, "Where did you get this guy?!"
"This DJ is off the chain!" and my favorite, "Coolest DJ ever, spectacular!" Phillip, I had like 3 different people from other clubs on campus that were there, ask me for your number, so I believe you should be getting calls very soon. I gave them your info hope you didn't mind haha. Definately should be a popular DJ around MC, no doubt. Glad I could be your
first customer here. Once again, thank you so much. I.... WE had a blast, I know Civitan will want to use you again.
